Can I run a report by asset type?

There are a number of ways to report by asset type depending on what you would like to do with the data.  

• The most precise way is to go into Reports --> Depreciation Report --> Run Report

Then download to excel (top right corner) and you're able to sort, filter and manipulate the data as you want.

• Additionally with the Depreciation Report, you can see an extended report grouped by asset type by clicking on the "download to PDF button" which is to the left of the Download to Excel Button.

• The most dynamic way is to go to your Asset Register and enter the asset type into the search menu.  This will filter the register down to the assets in that type. You can then download this subset of assets by clicking the ‘Download to Excel’ button.
