How do I change the Asset Type of an asset?

If you need to simply edit the name (eg spelling) of an Asset Type, you can do that easily in the setting page. This will apply to all assets that are assigned to this Asset Type.

At the individual asset level, Asset Types are a part of the financial detail and fundamental to how assets are depreciated and reports are generated.

Whilst in Draft asset phase, anything can be changed, however after an asset is activated Amend can be used to change the financial details.
