Create & Add your assets into Asset.Guru
There are two ways to enter your assets into Asset.Guru when you are getting started.
- Single asset entry if you have a low number of assets;
- Bulk asset entry if you have a large number of assets.
Single Asset Entry
- Navigate to the Asset Register using the navigation menu
- Click Create New Asset
- Fill in the details of the asset
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Save as Draft or Save draft and create next asset
- After reviewing the Draft asset, Activate to the Register
Bulk Asset Entry
- Navigate to the Asset Register using the navigation menu
- Click Bulk Asset Upload
- Download an upload template
- Fill in the details of the assets you want to upload and save your document
The mandatory fields for a depreciating asset are Asset Name, Asset Type, Country Code, Purchase Price and Purchase Date.
If you have already started to depreciate your assets, make sure to enter the Current Value and Current Value Date.

- Click Ready to upload
- Drag & drop your document or click to browse your folders to select your document
- Click Review Upload
- Review the upload and make changes (if any)
- Click Finish Import
- After reviewing the Draft assets, Activate to the Register
